The main motto for this program is “find a path”, this program helps young children to acknowledge possible career opportunities and scholarship aids to cope with financial stability, indeed career guidance is one of the most crucial thing for any student to be aware of in order to find their path towards their goal or passion.This program has initially started with the theme ‘women empowerment’ in women’s history month which was march. The target students were girl child and to spread awareness about possible chances after their schooling. Another motto was also about child marriages so we took the initiative to improvise this program for the students to think that there’s a lot they can achieve and pursue instead of giving up on their path.

So, We see many government school girl students dropping out after high school. One of the reasons for this could be no proper career guidance on what to pursue after their 10th standard. So we the For A Cause team wanted to solve this problem by selecting a few government girl’s schools and conducting an awareness sessions:

1. The importance of education and what are the numerous career options available.
2. Information about the entrance exams one should take to pursue that career.
3. Gave insights on scholarship aids based on merit and various criterias that can help the students with financial assistance for pursuing their further careers.
4. The list of colleges that offer that particular course.

A detailed plan was made on what to do and how to do it with work checkpoints by doing feasibility research for the proposed idea. The entire team was divided into 5 separate teams, to work for different schools. All the boys were assigned to do surveys and all the girls were assigned to do the research work. The executive team members stood as team heads and guided the team. Various online meetings were conducted throughout the process to make everybody in the team informed of the happenings.

We planned to give stationery kits and career digest books to students post the session. We also planned on giving a career digest book by nirmaan organization which gives a brief information about all possible paths, exams , scholarships , colleges and college courses provided. For this project our target audience in were 9th and 10th students from government schools and target strength was 500 students

The event took place on 27th and 28th of march 2023, career guidance sessions were divided in five teams for four government schools with two schools each day. In the initial days of planning, our target was to impact 500 students through this session, but fortunately, it left an impression on 800 students. A total of 800 students were given career guidance sessions and were also provided stationery kits with career digest books.This annual event had left a great impact on students and were truly thankful for FOR A CAUSE team.

The next mission through this project is to impact boys and girls together, where the target audience will be high since this project will be held multiple times a year in multiple schools. This event is truly a great impact on a student’s young mind to achieve and acknowledge the various opportunities present out there
