Event Description:

As part of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, the For A Cause team organized an EcoFriendly Ganesh Idol Stall at HITAM College to encourage sustainable and responsible festivities.
The stall was conducted over four days, during which a variety of eco-friendly Ganesh idols were displayed for the college community. The initial days focused on showcasing the idols and facilitating pre-bookings, while the later days were dedicated to distribution, ensuring smooth coordination and participation.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic involvement from students and faculty, reflecting a shared commitment to environmental consciousness and community engagement. Through this event, the team successfully promoted eco-friendly practices while celebrating the true spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Event Description:

The Diya Stall and Juvenile Home Visit were organized as part of the Diwali celebrations to spread light, warmth, and happiness while fostering compassion and community spirit. The initiative aimed to bring people together and celebrate the festival through meaningful participation and shared joy.

The Diya Stall featured beautifully handcrafted diyas, candles, flowers, and mats created by juvenile students, providing them with a platform to showcase their creativity and artistic skills. The stall witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and faculty, reflecting strong community support and festive involvement.

Alongside the stall, the Juvenile Home Visit strengthened the bond between the team and the students, reinforcing values of empathy, inclusion, and social responsibility. Together, the initiative beautifully captured the essence of Diwali—the triumph of light over darkness—and created lasting memories for everyone involved.

3. Juvenile Home Visit (Children’s Day Special)

4. Orphanage & Old Age Home Visit – Christmas

Event Description:

On the occasion of Christmas, For A Cause volunteers visited the orphanage-cum-old age home to spread joy, love, and companionship. The team spent quality time with both children and elders by playing games, engaging in cheerful conversations, and sharing laughter. These interactions created a warm and inclusive environment where everyone felt heard and valued.

As part of the visit, lunch was provided to the residents, and the volunteers ensured that the celebration was filled with care and togetherness. The visit truly reflected the spirit of Christmas—bringing happiness, comfort, and a sense of belonging to people across generations.

4. Blanket Drive

Team For a Cause

Event Description:

The For A Cause team conducted a Blanket Drive to support people living on the streets during the winter season. The drive was carried out across four different locations, reaching individuals and families in need during the night hours.

As part of the initiative, the team distributed 50 blankets and 150 food packets, providing warmth and nourishment to those on the roads. In addition, clothes were donated to street children, ensuring they received basic protection against the cold. Volunteers personally interacted with the beneficiaries, spreading care, compassion, and hope through this humanitarian effort.
