For A Cause team conducted a survey in Indira Nagar Colony on September 27, 2024, to assess living conditions and identify key challenges. The team divided into groups and visited every household to gather firsthand information from residents. The survey focused on essential services like water supply, sanitation, and healthcare. Residents expressed their concerns and priorities to the team. The Governor’s visit was warmly welcomed by the colony residents. A flash mob performance added excitement to the event. The Governor and local officials addressed the residents, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in maintaining cleanliness and improving infrastructure. The event concluded on a positive note, fostering optimism and strengthening partnerships.

2. WATER BOTTLE STALL IN DANDIYA NIGHT

Event Description:

The team set up a water bottle stall with a variety of drinks. They organized the stall to make it inviting and easy to navigate. After setting up, they distributed passes to attendees, creating excitement for the event. The event began with a lively dandiya session, followed by a delicious dinner. The water bottle stall remained popular throughout the evening, providing refreshments to the enthusiastic crowd. By 10 o’clock, the stall sold out, marking the end of a successful and enjoyable event.

3. Diya stall and Juvenile Home Visit

Event Description:

The Diya Stall unfolded at the main stairs of HITAM from October 28th to October 30th, 2024, between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, showcasing hand-crafted diyas and mats made by juvenile students. These items were purchased directly from the juvenile home to support the students, giving them an opportunity to showcase their skills and creativity. These items were purchased from the juvenile home and sold at HITAM College and St. Peter’s Engineering College. The stall aimed to spread the festive spirit of Diwali while supporting the students, allowing the college community to participate in a meaningful cause. The initiative raised a total of ₹10,050, with ₹9,760 generated from the sale of the diyas and mats and ₹290 from donations. This event not only provided financial support to the juvenile students but also brought the community together, fostering a sense of unity and celebration. It was a wonderful way to contribute to a good cause while spreading joy during the Diwali season. Event Description: at st peters college A campaign was organized at St. Peter’s College to raise awareness and promote the Diya stall within their campus. The volunteers engaged with students and staff, explaining the purpose of the stall and the impact of supporting the juvenile home students who crafted the diyas and mats. Through this effort, we were able to generate ₹10 in donations, helping to further support the cause. The campaign effectively spread the message and encouraged participation, contributing to the overall success of the event 

JUVENILE HOME VISIT: 14-11-2024 The event began with a warm speech by students from the juvenile home, followed by a heartfelt song that resonated with everyone present. The superintendent then addressed the gathering, extending Children’s Day wishes and encouraging the students to embrace their potential. The Sub-Inspector of Suraram inspired the students to prioritize education, resilience, and positive choices, emphasizing that these are keys to a successful future. The magistrate added further motivation, urging students to view their current challenges as temporary and to see education as a path to new opportunities. Each speaker’s message fostered a sense of purpose, hope, and optimism for the students’ futures. Our ‘For A Cause’ team concluded the event with an interactive career guidance session, where we explored different career paths and opportunities tailored to each student’s strengths and interests. This session provided clarity, encouragement, and practical advice, helping students envision their goals and steps to achieve them. To close, we organized a lunch for the students, allowing everyone to connect, share stories, and celebrate the day. The event left a lasting impact, filling everyone involved with inspiration, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.

4. Career Guidance Session

Career Exploration Informing them about various career opportunities. Institutional Guidance Sharing details about reputed institutions and related entrance exams. Scholarship Assistance Providing insights into financial aid to ease the burden of pursuing higher education.

5. Blanket Drive and Food Donation Initiative 2024

Event Description:

The For A Cause Blanket Drive and Food Donation Event, took place on November 30th, 2024. On this meaningful day, we gathered at HITAM College and embarked on a compassionate journey. Before starting the event we divided the volunteers into three teams which are focusing on three different routes. They are, Kompally to ECIL, Gandimaisamma to balanagar (Extended upto Erragadda) and KPHB to Lakadikapool. We carried warm blankets and good food to share with homeless people. The goal was to help those in need. With the support of volunteers and donors, we showed that coming together makes a big difference. This event was about more than just giving things. It was a day to share kindness and show that even small acts can help. In conclusion, the drive was an immense success, All the team members worked diligently, successfully distributing food and blankets across all assigned routes. The drive was completed by 11:00 PM, after which everyone safely returned to their respective homes. Their dedication and teamwork ensured the event’s success and brought comfort to those in need.
