1. DIYAS EVENT(JUVENILE)
Event Description:
For A Cause has organized an Event to Support the Craft People (Young boys) of Juvenile School by Selling Diyas and Candles made by them for Diwali at HITAM college on 20-10-2022, 21-10-2022 &22-10-2022. At the end of 22-10-2022, the total amount raised was ₹9,690/- The auction was conducted for the remaining stock on 23-10-2022 and ₹3,430/- was raised. On 29-10-2023, the team visited the Juvenile school, provided lunch, and spent quality time with the students of the school, and handed over the funds raised to them.
2. CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Team For a Cause
Event Description:
FOR A CAUSE team visited SRI ADHARSHA FOUNDATION which is located at Borabanda on 13/11/2022. The team had a good time with the children. We provided them the lunch, books, and stationery kits. Towards the end, we celebrated Children’s day by cutting the cake and distributing chocolates and ice creams to the children.
3. GALA NIGHT 5.0
Event Description:
For A Cause has organized an annual fundraising event on 16-12-2022 from 04:00 pm to 06:30 am (17/12/2022). This is annually conducted by For A Cause to raise funds on a large scale to be used throughout the year for various other events. During this event, the participants (HITAM Students) get to experience the night stay in the college, movies, DJ, Campfire, and food. This is the event where the students make cherishable memories and the raised funds are used on worthy causes.
4. CHRISTMAS EVENT
Event Description:
For A Cause team visited an Orphanage at Secunderabad on 24-12-2022 to celebrate the Christmas event. The team had a great time with the children. We interacted with the kids, gave them chocolates, and played different games with them. We also had lunch with them. Thereafter, we celebrated Christmas by distributing Christmas caps and gifts, cutting the cake and clicking few pictures with them. Finally, the Children were happy and were contended by fulfilling the purpose of the event.
5. SANKRANTHI EVENT
Event Description:
Volunteers were divided into two teams to manage both the stalls. The event fulfilled its purpose. Also, a few kites and rangoli colors were taken to the Juvenile school for donation.
6. BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Event Description:
For A Cause conducted a “Blood Donation Camp” at HITAM in the activity block on 16/02/2023 from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm with “BBR Blood Bank”. Many students and faculty voluntarily came to donate blood however, there were doctors from the blood bank who were cross-examining the donor’s eligibility to donate the blood like checking the blood pressure for boys and hemoglobin levels for girls. The count of donors has reached 170.
7. EMPOWER GIRLS IN EDUCATION
Event Description:
We see many government school girl students dropping out after high school. One of the reasons for this might be no proper guidance on what to pursue after the 10th standard. So we from For A Cause wanted to solve this problem by selecting a few government girl’s schools and conducting an awareness session on: 1. Importance of education for girls and how education can shape their future. 2. The various and vast career opportunities available for girls. 3. Best institutions in the country and state, to pursue the career of their choice and the entrance exams related to the institutions. 4. Give them clear insights on the various scholarship aids that can help them with financial assistance for pursuing that career. Event Day 1 [27/03/2023] (i) School-1 : Telangana Social Welfare Residential School, Medchal Session Timings: 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm Number of Girls Impacted: 157 Girl Students from 9th and 10th classes (ii) School-2 : Zilla Parishad Girls High School, Moosapet Session Timings: 11:30 am to 2:30 pm Number of Girls Impacted: 292 Girl Students from 9th and 10th classes Event Day 2 [28/03/2023] (iii) School-3 : Telangana Tribal Welfare Upgraded Residential Junior College, Narsapur Session timings: 10:30 am to 1:00 pm Number of Girls Impacted: 181 Girl Students from 9th and 10th classes (iv) School-4 : Zilla Parishad Girls High School, Patancheru Session Timings: 10:00 am to 12:30 pm Number of Girls Impacted: 168 Girl Students from 9th and 10th classes We also donated 45 stationery kits and 100 pens to the juvenile school at Pragathi Nagar, so that it will be helpful for them.
8. WATER BOTTLE STALL AT COLLEGE FEST

Event Description:
It is a fundraising and brand-establishing event initiated by For A Cause at Elysian2023, HITAM. It was from 24th April 2023 to 28 th April 2023. The total number of bottles sold was 1008. The quoted price of each bottle at the stall was ₹30/-. The total revenue generated through this stall was ₹30,350/-, including the expenditure being ₹15,935/-, and the total funds raised were ₹14,415/-
