Event Details (2018-19)
1. GALA NIGHT 1.0
Event Description:
For A Cause held its first big fundraiser on March 30, 2018, starting at 4:00 PM and lasting until 6:30 AM on March 31, 2018. This event is crucial for us because it helps raise money that we’ll use for various important projects throughout the year. During this event, HITAM students get to have a fun night at their college. They can enjoy movies, dance to music from a DJ, gather around a campfire, and eat some delicious food. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to create lasting memories while also supporting meaningful causes.
2. MUNIRABAD SCHOOL ADOPTION
Event Description:
On January 20,2019 the team For A Cause visited the Munirabad ZPHS and wholeheartedly contributed valuable resources to support the school, including notebooks, textbooks,sports equipment and pens. We also provided them with fans and benches as the students were sitting on the ground and they couldn’t sit for long as it was uncomfortable for them to concentrate for extended periods. We had some interaction with the headmaster and students, later we played some sports with the students.
3. GALA NIGHT 2.0
Event Description:
By the success of Gala Night 1.0, For A Cause held Gala Night 2.0 on February 20, 2019, starting at 4:00 PM and lasting until 6:30 AM on March 21, 2019. This event is crucial for us because it helps raise money that we’ll use for various important projects throughout the year. During this event, HITAM students get to have a fun night at their college. They can enjoy movies, dance to music from a DJ, gather around a campfire, and eat some delicious food. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to create lasting memories while also supporting meaningful causes.
4.KANUKUNTA SCHOOL
Event Description:
The team from ‘For A Cause’ made a visit to Kanukunta ZPHS, generously donating notebooks, a ceiling fan, and several LED lights. We also provided them with boards to enhance the learning environment for the students.
5.KESHAVARAM SCHOOL
Event Description:
Team For A Cause visited Keshavaram SSA(Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) and noticed the condition of the school was far from ideal for the students who were trying to receive an education there. In response, we made a heartfelt decision to lend a helping hand. We fixed up some broken parts, gave the walls a fresh coat of paint, cleaned up the area around the school, planted a few trees, and fixed their water tank. The school staff welcomed us warmly and supported us as we worked. Together, we made the school a better place for the students to learn and grow
